The Bernie Madoff scandal is far from over, writes PR Newswire. In a press release, Trustee Picard, who is responsible for the liquidation of Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities LLC (BLMIS), declared that "JPMorgan Chase guilty in Madoff fraud, states Trustee" and corporations is the subject of a massive complaint to be heard by the United States of America Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of NY. According to Picard, Chase bank owes Madoff victims $1 billion in costs and profits, as well as $5.4 billion in damages. The supposed wrongdoing by JPMC is that the corporation aided and abetted Madoff and company within the biggest financial pyramid scheme is United States history.
